Reading is my hobby and now writing has taken that place recently. Well I was reading one book the other day and I noticed few words on which I got little confuse so I thought of doing some research on it to get the real meaning. These words are honesty and integrity. After going through dictionary and some other available sources, I got to know the difference between honestly, integrity, dignity. All HR Fraternity, please provide your POA on this case study. You and your colleague go for a meeting. Your colleague is driving the car. You both reach to meeting venue. You do your meeting and come back. While coming back, you ask your colleague, almost 4-5 times, if he is going back to office or not. He says “NO" to you. You drop a SMS to your immediate boss stating you are not coming to the office and will update him about meeting status tomorrow. You catch the bus to reach home. When you are sitting in the bus you get a call from your immediate boss asking you why you are going home early and why you didn’t come to office. You reply to him stating as your colleague was not coming to the office, also it would have ...
When we were kids people used to ask as what you want to become when you will grow up and most of the times, our answer is “Doctor”, “Engineer”, or “Lawyer”… and preference is always on Doctor Side. And the very next question from this person used to be why do you want to become “Doctor” and normally our answer is to make every one healthy or to have healthy world or to help human being or to treat everyone well. Now, when we actually get into “Doctor Profession” we forget whatever we used to say about Doctors. I am not saying Doctor should not take their fees, but my request is to charge as per person capability if possible or otherwise cover your expense from the rich people. I guess being a Doctor you can always judge who can afford or who can’t afford. When we h...
