Marriage !!!

A word which is joy for some, excitement for other, sadness for some and experience for all J . There is a very famous hindi lines saying “Shaadi ek aisa laddo, jo khaye so pachtaye, jo na khaye wo bhi pachtaye”. But is it really true? If yes, then why people get into marriage? You all now, marriage is a state, wherein if you have already gone through it, it has just become one of the completed processes of your life, but if you are single, you have high expectations from the person whom you want in your life, in the sense, how that person should look like, nature, status, education etc…, and if your expectations are not met, you are highly disappointed for whole life.  I am still not able to find out the answer of why do we go for marriage? Also, once we have decided to go for it, why do we always complain and fight with our partner after marriage? Why we always change our expectations from time to time? Marriage is not for getting what you want; marriage is what you ca

Mood swings!!

Today I am in a good mood. Yesterday I was not. I wonder if I would be happy tomorrow. Why our mood swings every moment? Why don’t we have control on our emotions? I tell you one incidence which happened to me in a bus and which forced me to write this article. I am talking about the time, when blue line bus used to ply. You know sometime something unusual happens to you and you cannot forget those unusual moments. It was one of those kinds.  As usual that day also, I was traveling by bus, when I noticed something different. One Aunty g who was sitting next to me, was talking to someone over the phone and seems she was in a very bad mood. She was busy in conversation when conductor came to her and asked her for tickets.  Now that aunty g who was already angry, blasted on him like anything. She bluntly said to him, “can’t you wait for ticket”, neither I am dying at this moment nor I am running away from here, just wait for some time, I will take ticket. You don’t have to worry

Should we be introvert or extrovert?

Long back I had a conversation with one of my close friend. During the conversation, he asked me one question for which I had no answer at that moment. The question was if I am an introvert or an extrovert. Honestly speaking, that time I did not know the difference between these two words. Also, I didn’t answer him right away as I wanted to know the meaning before I responded to him. For this, I thought it would be better to buy the time in some way or other. So, I just shifted the focus from that question to some other question.  This shift in the discussion gave me time, and after the conversation got over, I found the meaning of those two words. The knowledge of meaning created confusion in my mind.  And, the question was - as a human being; which option would be better in life? Becoming an introvert person or an extrovert person? This puzzling question forced me to brainstorm the "ifs and buts." Finally, after intensive and extensive analysis, I came to conclusio

Heart to Heart talk !!!!

I get irritated when people do not attach importance to the value of relationship. On the one hand some people have really made it a joke to relation. On the other hand, there are few people who make a relation just for the sake of keeping that person in contact. In addition, others build the opportunistic relationship to serve their own needs and purpose.    Such a scenario raises many perplexing and disturbing questions. And, these questions are: a) Are we not becoming too casual towards the values of relations and relationships?  b) Do we establish relationship with others just for the sake of getting ourselves entertained? c) Do we believe in physical relationship or emotional relationship? I am sure that the answers to these questions will raise doubt in ours mind what we really are and how we should conduct ourselves in life. Keeping these questions in mind, my advice to others will be: Respect the inherent meaning of relationship. If we cannot do this, then

Land of school – Holy or Horror place :-)

We all have special place in our heart for any school because it is the place from where we all started our basic education to become something in life. All that we are today is the result of how we have been groomed and re-conditioned by our teachers. In earlier times, on the one hand,  school used to be our temple and on the other hand, teacher were treated as our GOD. Now, with the evolution of modern tools and technology in the 21st century world, it has become a tool of social status to earn goodwill than a sacerd place of learning. All the stakeholders - government agencies, administrative department, educational planners - have made this place to just either earn money or join this profession to have easy life and pass the time. Similarly, children go to school to just get marks or certificates. And, teachers use school as a platform to earn money. So, what is lacking now in education in the present schooling system is the teaching of social and moral values, importance

Is there any difference between honesty, Integrity or dignity?

Reading is my hobby and now writing has taken that place recently. Well I was reading one book the other day and I noticed few words on which I got little confuse so I thought of doing some research on it to get the real meaning. These words are honesty and integrity.  After going through dictionary and some other available sources, I got to know the difference between honestly, integrity, dignity. Though I feel honesty and integrity are the synonyms but I came to know the definition of it, and it changed my perspective.  Honesty is when you tell the truth. Integrity is the validity of the truth (or standing morals). Like many other words, these two represent a whole world of meaning. They are used all the time and most of the time, people tend to understand what you mean if you use these words. Honesty is being honest to someone and integrity is maintaining self-respect and honesty. My opinion is you can be honest without integrity but you can’t maintain your integri
