Are we really modern?

On one fine Sunday, I thought of watching movie. I switched on my TV and was looking for a movie to watch. Suddenly I saw one scene of old movie which made me to give a thought to it and I started watching it further to think of that thought. It was a movie of Vaijanti Mala and Dharmendra. Vaijanti Mala was dancing with Dharmendra and Vaijanti Mala was in dress which was almost as if she has worn nothing. The point here is when Dharmendra was dancing with her he was not having any dirty look on her. They both were dancing and enjoying. They were neither husband wife, nor boy-friend / girl friend still they were enjoying the dance without any bad look on each other. 

Now, movie name doesn’t make a difference here but the thought which made me to think on something has a point. The point here is Vaijanti Mala was in a dress which people now days think is modern dress. And our modern society says girls should not wear modern dress as it diverts man’s mind. 

Also, they think it is girl’s mistake if something bad happens to her just because she has worn a dress which are exposing to her skin.  Is this thought right? Are we too modern to handle modern look or we have the same old thoughts with modern look? Should we change our mentality or should we change our modern look. 

When boy wants to marry a girl, he need a girl who should be tradition from traditional family with modern look but when he wants to enjoy with girl, he need a girl who is very modern in outlook as well as in thoughts. Why?????????????

In today’s time, if our mentality is not right, we blame it on others. In old times also, girls used to wear the dress which were little offensive. I mean that’s what our thinking is. When we say we are modern, we are just concerned about our modern out-look. Our inner thoughts or you can say mentality is still the same. Second thing is, whenever something bad happens to girl, it is totally girl’s mistake because she has worn an exposing dress and boys can’t handle to control themselves after seeing her. What a thought. I still can’t go with it. 

Our man’s world says, girls should only wear those clothes which are not exposing to skin. Why???????????? I am not saying they should wear whatever they want but I also will not say they should wear as per man’s choice. They should also have liberty of wearing the clothes, which they feel comfortable in. What are your thoughts on it?

My request is please change your mentality instead of thinking of changing all girls outlook.
